MADISON, S.D. -- Matt Young won his first North Star Athletic Association individual championship and the Jimmie men finished third as a team during the NSAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday.

The Jimmie men's cross country team competed Saturday at the Mount Marty Invite in Yankton, S.D. UJ finished 8th of 10 teams in the 8,000 meter race.

The Jimmie men's cross country team finished fifth of eight teams at the University of Jamestown Invitational meet, held Friday at Parkhurst Course in Jamestown. 

BROOKINGS, S.D.-- The University of Jamestown men's cross country team finished 3rd in the college division of the SDSU Classic Cross Country Meet, held Saturday at Edgebrook Golf Course.

The Jimmie men's cross country team finished 3rd of 5 teams at the Dragon Twilight Meet, held Friday in Moorhead, Minn.

The Jimmie men's cross country team competed Friday at the Viterbo Twilight Hokum Karem meet in Lacrosse, Wis.

Matthew Young led a 1-2-3 finish for the Jimmie men's cross country team in their dual against Concordia-Moorhead Tuesday evening. 

The University of Jamestown men's cross country team earned a fourth-place spot with 14 points in the preseason North Star Athletic Association coaches' poll, released on Monday.
