[Men's Outdoor Track & Field] Connor Doppler qualifies for NAIA Nationals MarathonPublished by
Connor Doppler qualified for the NAIA nationals marathon on Saturday. The sophomore from Anoka-Ramsey, Minn., placed second at the Circular Logic Marathon at West Lafayette, Indiana. Doppler covered the 26.214 miles in a personal-best time of 2 hours, 45 minutes and 9 seconds. "Connor ran a great race. He's put in a lot of time and miles training. He ran an outstanding race. We're really happy for him and proud of the way he competed," said University of Jamestown men's track and field coach Ed Crawford. "That's a great time for him. It's a lot of work to put yourself in position to qualify, so he deserves a lot of credit. It's a great thing for him."
