The cold and blow didn't slow down the Jimmies' Sarah Skipper and Katie Conlon, as both athletes qualified for nationals. Skipper's career best second-place time of 15.13 in the 100-meter hurdles sends her to nationals, where she'll be met by Conlon who won the 3,000 steeplechase (11:04.77) in the first time the sophomore from Jamestown had ever competed in the event.

Conlon obliterated Jamestown College's school record in the event by a staggering 30 seconds. Emmylyn Bentley held the previous school record in the 3,000 steeplechase with an 11:37.89 which she ran last season.
