[Men's Cross Country] Jimmies End Season Well in CaliforniaPublished by
The Jamestown College Jimmie men's cross country team placed 7th of 9 teams at the A I I Conference Qualifier in San Marcos, California, on Saturday. Joseph "JJ" Koerber finished his Jimmie career the way he started it - by being the # 1 Jamestown runner across the line in a cross country race. On Saturday, Koerber ran his personal best time of 26:44 and was indeed the first Jimmie across the line for his final cross country race in a Jamestown uniform. Koerber was 24th overall in the race. Justin Slusser also ran a personal best time(27:59) as he was the second Jimmie to cross the finish line. Overall, Slusser placed 37th. Nathan Christensen ran his final cross country race for Jamestown as he will graduate in the spring. Christensen ran 28:35, 44th overall. The other Jimmie harriers to race in California were Clinton Senn (28:49, 47th), David Londe (28:53, 48th), Spencer Kamoni (29:10, 52nd), and Kendall Wiltzen (29:32, 54th).
