Josh Ewalt put in a strong second day of the heptathlon at the NAIA national indoor meet to finish in 12th place. Ewalt finished with a score of 4,725 points in the seven events.

Ewalt's best event came in the 60 hurdles where he finished 5th with a season-best time of 8.65 seconds. He also turned in a season-best time in the 1000 meter run with a time of 2:48.11, good for 8th place.
