[Men's Track & Field] Brad Brooks Qualifies for NationalsPublished by
Bradley Brooks easily spun the discus past the required 155-foot mark to earn his trip to Indiana. Brooks had been getting closer each meet after not throwing earlier in the season due to a knee injury Also Monday, Joe Ikier cleared 14-6.5 in the pole vault, a half inch better than his previous best. Throwers Garrett Tenney and Michael Brousseau also took advantage of the extra meet. Tenney broke the school record in the hammer throw with a launch of 162 feet. Brousseau sent the hammer out 154-6, 10 feet better than his previous best mark. The Jimmies took just 13 athletes to Moorhead.
